Tutoring

“My tutor was and still is a great tutor. He helped me get through the rough work I used to have trouble on. He’s like the best friend I could ever have. He taught me a lot about literature that I didn’t even know until he filled me in and helped me discover these new techniques and ways. My work at school is easier than it was now that he has helped me. He’s always someone I can call on.”

– 9th Grader, Mt. Zion High School (Clayton County)

All of our trained tutors are Georgia-certified instructors, experienced teachers, or degreed professionals with tutoring experience. Their passion for teaching and student success encourages them to invent creative and interesting lessons that help your child better understand material and gain the ability to apply it not only in the classroom but also in the real world.

Your child will receive the one-on-one or small group attention he or she deserves within the comfort of your own home or at a public location. To ensure a convenient schedule for parents and students, our tutors are available every day of the week, including weekends.

Why work with Vision Tutoring?

You determine the frequency and duration of sessions. After your initial payment, hours are deducted from your account based on the amount of time your child works as needed with his or her tutor. Once all hours have been used, you can purchase additional hours if you desire or discontinue service.

Small Group Tutoring (3-7 students)

Tailored lessons and interactive activities will focus on grade-level standards as well as remediation and enrichment as needed. Small group tutoring allows your child to receive the benefits of tutoring at a lower hourly rate than one-on-one sessions while engaging with students similar in age, which is advantageous especially during this time of social distancing.

Small group tutoring includes:

  • identification of your child’s academic strengths and challenges
  • conducting pre and post assessments to determine your child’s progress and guide instruction
  • lessons and activities tailored to your child’s academic needs

Small group schedules and the enrollment link will be posted when registration opens.

“My little brother’s tutor has the ability to connect with him. Previous teachers and tutors lacked this innate ability. He is not a motivated student; however, she tapped into his learning potential, teaching him things that I have always settled to believe he would just not learn. Her teaching ability is a special gift.”
