Our Passion For What We Do Transfers Into Our Tutoring
Our professional tutors specialize in their respective subjects and have detailed knowledge of the Georgia schools’ classes and testing methods, as well as the demanding requirements from Atlanta’s private and preparatory schools.
Our Vision
Yohance and Di Yonna Mitchell, co-owners of Vision Tutoring, LLC, are a powerhouse couple with a strong vision to assist youth in reaching their full potential. Inspired by her elementary and middle school teachers who allowed her love of education to blossom, Di Yonna became a teacher in the Atlanta Public School system after graduating from the University of Georgia. Yohance graduated from Georgia State University and became a powerful force for mentoring, communications, and project management at Delta Air Lines. In 2008, they made a joint decision for Di Yonna to step out on faith to expand her tutoring company, which had been operated on a part-time basis since 2003.
Six months later, Yohance made the decision to leave his full-time position to become a part of their vision. By taking Di Yonna’s organizational, administrative, and financial skills along with over 18 years of private tutoring, three years of teaching in the public school system, and ample knowledge through multiple promotions within tutoring companies; combining them with Yohance’s experience of over 20 years in marketing, communications, project management, and customer service; then adding the couple’s solid entrepreneurial vision, unwavering faith, and passion, Vision Tutoring was set for success.
